Sam Geiersbach

Coach Geiersbach is the head coach of the Valor Girls Lacrosse program, bringing championship pedigree and years of elite experience to Lacrosse Den.

 

A national champion and NCAA Tournament MVP at the University of North Carolina, she went on to play professionally, represent Team Argentina internationally, and serve as a graduate assistant coach for the Tar Heels

 

For the past five years, Geiersbach has been providing personalized assessments and tailored coaching to help players develop their skills and reach their potential. Her combination of on-field excellence and leadership expertise makes her a perfect fit to guide our athletes to the next level.

Trinity McPherson

Coach McPherson began her collegiate career at Johns Hopkins University, where she earned All-American honors and was a four-year starter. McPherson transferred to the University of Denver, becoming a defensive anchor and helping lead the Pioneers to a Big East Tournament title. She earned IWLCA All-America recognition and was named Big East Defensive Player of the Year.

 

After college, she competed professionally with Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse. McPherson was also selected to the U.S. Women’s Senior National Team for the IWLCA President’s Cup.

Dalton Sulver

Coach Sulver played collegiate lacrosse at High Point University, where he was a key midfielder and served as a team captain. During his time at High Point, Sulver contributed consistently in scoring and ground play, finishing among the program’s career leaders in points.

 

After college, he was selected in the 2020 NLL Draft by the Buffalo Bandits and helped the team during multiple seasons, including a championship run. Sulver recorded goals and assists while contributing in loose balls and defensive plays in the NLL. He later signed with the Colorado Mammoth.

Madison McPherson

Coach McPherson starred at Johns Hopkins University, where she played 53 games, scored 37 goals with 8 assists, and contributed significantly in draw controls, ground balls, and caused turnovers. McPherson earned Second Team All‑Big Ten honors and was named to the Big Ten All‑Tournament Team during her time with the Blue Jays.

After her four‑year career at Hopkins, she transferred as a graduate student to Stanford University to continue her lacrosse journey.

Brianne Gross

Coach Gross had a standout collegiate career at Vanderbilt University as a midfielder, where she became one of the program’s all‑time leaders in draw controls and consistently ranked among the team’s top scorers and playmakers. Gross earned multiple All‑AAC honors, including unanimous first‑team selections and second‑team recognition, and was named to IWLCA All‑Region and All‑America honorable mention lists.

 

Internationally, Gross won a gold medal with the U.S. Women’s U‑19 National Team and was named to the All‑World Team at the World Lacrosse U‑19 Championship. After college, she continued her lacrosse journey by playing professionally in Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse.

Conor Healey

Coach Healey is the most prolific scorer in St. Lawrence University men’s lacrosse history, finishing his career as the program’s all‑time leader in points with 291. He was a dynamic attackman, consistently ranking among league leaders in goals, assists, and points throughout his collegiate career. 

 

Healey earned multiple All‑Liberty League First Team and USILA All‑America honors, and was selected to play in the USILA/Nike North‑South Game. In 2017, he led St. Lawrence’s offense with 79 points, breaking a 30‑year scoring record, and was ultimately drafted by the Denver Outlaws in the MLL.

Paulina Difatta

Coach DiFatta, a standout goalkeeper, began her collegiate career at Fairfield University, where she set the program’s single‑season saves record and earned MAAC All‑Rookie and All‑Championship honors. DiFatta later transferred to Elon University, again setting a single‑season saves record, before finishing her college career at Pittsburgh, where she led the ACC in saves and ground balls and set multiple ACC Championship save records. 

 

Over her NCAA career, she totaled 661 saves with a .493 save percentage, and earned honorable mention All‑America, IWLCA All‑Region, and All‑ACC recognition. DiFatta was selected in the 2022 Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse College Draft and has competed multiple seasons in the professional league. In 2025, she joined the Maryland Charm as a founding member of the new Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL), continuing her professional career at the highest level of the sport.

Josh Melton

Coach Melton is a standout lacrosse attackman from Centennial, Colorado who first made waves at Grandview High School, where he captained the varsity lacrosse team and earned all‑league honors.

At Salisbury University, he became one of the most prolific scorers in program history, recording over 300 career points—placing him among the school’s all‑time leaders.

Our coaches have experience playing at the highest levels of lacrosse, including the college and professional landscape, and understand what it takes to develop real skill. Their training breaks the game down to its fundamentals through purposeful, high-repetition reps.

JACK HANNAH

Offensive Director

Coach Hannah is a high-level midfielder known for his smart offensive play, physicality, and leadership. A standout at the University of Denver, he earned multiple All-America honors, served as team captain in 2022, and finished his collegiate career with 155 points on 103 goals and 52 assists. He was a two-time First Team All-American and a Tewaaraton Award nominee.

After college, Hannah was selected 14th overall in the 2022 PLL Draft by the Philadelphia Waterdogs, winning a PLL Championship in 2022 and earning 2025 PLL All-Star honors. He also plays professionally in the NLL with the Colorado Mammoth organization, where he was a 2023 Rookie of the Year finalist and earned All-World recognition at the 2024 World Lacrosse Men’s Box Championship.

JJ SILLSTROP

Offensive Director

Coach Sillstrop is a decorated attackman known for his dynamic scoring, clutch performance, and leadership on the field. Sillstrop became one of DU’s most prolific offensive weapons over five seasons, finishing with 159 career points on 116 goals and 43 assists, ranking among the top in program history for both goals and points. He was a team captain in 2024, earned All-BIG EAST honors, appeared on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List multiple times, and collected numerous national and conference player-of-the-week recognitions for his on-field excellence.

 

After college, Sillstrop transitioned to the professional ranks, making his PLL debut in 2025 with the Carolina Chaos and immediately contributing with goals and assists.

GREG WEYL

Defensive Director

Coach Weyl is the most decorated defender in Mercyhurst University history, where he earned multiple All-American honors, conference Defensive Player of the Year recognition, the Mercyhurst Athlete of the Year award, and finished his college career with the most caused turnovers in school history with 133, in addition to 185 ground balls, and 9 goals.

 

Weyl continued his lacrosse career at the professional level after being selected in the fifth round of the 2018 MLL Draft by the Florida Launch. He now competes with the Denver Outlaws in the PLL, where he has earned a reputation for his physical, and skillful style of play.

ALLY GIBB

Girl's Director

Coach Gibb is a skilled and versatile player who competed at University of Denver and Mercer University as a midfielder/defender. During her collegiate career, she was a two-time Big East Champion, two-time Big South Champion, and a four-time NCAA Tournament participant.

 

After graduating, Ally continued her playing career with Team Ireland as a member of the Super Sixes and EuroSixes women's national team. She currently serves as the Varsity Assistant Coach at Valor Christian High School and is deeply passionate about growing the game and developing girls lacrosse players across Colorado.

 

Ally is also pursuing her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, with a focus on sports contracts.
